About Me

Born in Motala, Sweden. Grew up in Gothenburg. Now living in a house with a studio by the sea in Åsa, on the Swedish west coast. Professional art educations, now working with a special profile and very typical artistic expression. Several exhibitions in Sweden and international successes in glass design and art works. Selected to represent Sweden with an exclusive glass collection at the historic journey to Kanton in China of the East India ship “Götheborg” under Royal patronage and welcomed by the highest leader of China, Mr Hu Jintao.

Art is communication, a conversation without words between you and me. Where I want to give you an experience and where, by seeing and receiving, you give me your response. Each painting is for me an opportunity to reach you in your feelings and might cause you to experience what I feel. If you see my pictures and they touch your senses, I have achieved everything I want with my art.

Eva-Lena Martinson. Född i Motala, Sverige. Uppväxt i Göteborg. Hus och ateljé i Åsa,Halland. Konstutbildning med egna vägar till konstnärliga uttryck. Ett flertal utställningar i Sverige. Internationella framgångar inom glaskonst. Utvald att representera Göteborg med en exklusiv glaskolletion vid Ostindienfararen Götheborgs resa till Kanton i Kina.
